Supercar: 1935 Duesenberg SSJ LaGrande roadster (a 4700-pound car that could do 160 MPH in 1935 is infinitely more of a supercar than ANY grossly overpriced modern European $h!box at half the weight is, regardless of top speed!)

Sportscar: 1932 Packard Light Eight coupe-roadster

Sports Sedan: 1933 Duesenberg SJ Arlington Torpedo (the famous "Twenty Grand" Duesenberg for you amateurs :P )

Luxury Car: 1929 Duesenberg J Barker Town Car

Family Vehicle: 1970 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser (one of the three that snuck out of the factory with the 442 package, probably the oldest car of the dream fleet I could convince the girl to drive!)

Just for fun: Brewster-bodied 1915 Crane-Simplex rumble seat roadster

Truck: 1973-1987 Chevrolet/GMC K30 (custom built to my specs)

Economy: 1961 Pontiac Tempest coupe with the Indy Four

Having filled (and emptied) the garage repeatedly, I'm not sure how to restrict the list.

So, I'll just restrict myself to recent, new, upcoming , and concept for this post. Older stuff would take pages of space.

Recent: Another '04-'06 GTO

New: Corvette ZR1

Upcoming: G8 ST GXP and G8 Sportwagon GXP

Concept: Hummer HX

'09 CTS-V

'09 Camaro SS

hmmm...

daily driver: G8 GT

luxury: CTS-V

for fun: 69 Corvette L88

* all of the above in Black w/ white stripes and a 4spd.

The new Tata is enough, but like all Tatas it should come in pairs :rotflmao:

Dude better get some quick it seems you need them more than anybody else. But they are too tiny for my taste. Until they come with big Tatas, I have to look for something else.

Posted

Only really need two cars.

For weekdays: '08 Nighthawk Black Acura TSX, tan/black leather interior with wood trim, navigation, els surround, 6sp manual.

For weekends: Pagani Zonda-F.

But..... if I do decide to get a boat I would definitely purchase a new Toyota Tundra! I would use the Tundra to tow the boat around. I would also purchase a Ford F150 whenever I need to haul cargo around in the bed..... as to not damage my Tundra's tailgate of course.

Posted
I rather have 25 Tatas than one Tundra.

Yeah those when put in series can tow siegen's TURD after it breaks down.

Posted
What has 50 working cylinders, 104 tires, and a snapped camshaft? My 25 Tatas towing siegen's Tundra. :smilewide:

AND 875 HP. Talk about modern day Santa NANO Slade. :rotflmao:

Here's mine:

Supercar: 1931 Cadillac V16 dual cowl phaeton

Sportscar: 1969 Chevrolet Corvette ZL1 (the daytona yellow one with tuxedo black stripes)

Sports Sedan: 2009 Cadillac CTS-V

Luxury Car: 2008 Mercedes Benz CL600 hardtop

Family Vehicle: 1959 Buick Electra 225 flat-top four door hardtop

Just for fun: 1961 Cadillac Coupe deVille 2dr hardtop, yellow or baby blue with white interior

Truck: 1937 Chevrolet Truck with a tube-chassis & Duramax Diesel Turbo

Economy: 1969 Chevrolet Corvair Monza, two-door hardtop with a 4-speed manual

That's how I roll, A'ight!

 Ohhh the Tundra's woes and the Tatas galore... :P

I am sure that if all of us dance on the hoods of the Tatas they will out live the Turd's Tailgate.

Not sure if I can, but I'll TRY narrowing down my selections based on a few of the categories.

Supercar: Chevrolet Corvette ZR1/Chevrolet Corvette Z06... The Z06 is more my personality (raw, tempermental, flashy track car) which makes it the front runner until I see performance specs on the ZR1 (Which looks more luxury oriented) Other options include the Ford GT, Aston Martin DBS or a Bentley Continental GT

Sportscar: Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 or SS, whatever the top option car is. Other option: Mustang Shelby GT500 KR

Sports Sedan: Dodge Charger SRT-8 Other option: Pontiac G8 GXP as long as it improves on the looks of the car.

Luxury Car: '09 Cadillac CTS-V Other option: The hot version of the new Jaguar XF (If there ever is one)

Family Vehicle: It's a dead heat between the Saturn Outlook, Buick Enclave and Ford Flex

Just for fun: Hummer H4 or Pontiac Solstice GXP

Truck: GMC Sierra Denali or Ford Super Duty depending on what I needed the truck for.

Economy: Dead heat between a Dodge Caliber SRT-4 or a Chevy HHR SS Panel Other options: Chevy Volt a hot version of the Euro Focus or a hot version of the Saturn Astra

Everyday Daily Driver/Winter Car: 2002 Trans Am WS6, otherwise it's a dead heat between Chevrolet Malibu LTZ, Saturn Aura XR and a Mercury Milan

Project Car: Oh god... This is gonna get lengthy... My Camaros of course.... Other than that, off the top of my head and in no particular order: '63 Corvette split window, a random '70s Corvette, '69 Camaro COPO or true Z/28, a Corvair of some sort, '67 or '70 Chevelle SS, '66 Nova (cracker box), '59 Impala or El Camino, a B-59 of my own, '53 Buick Skylark, a GNX, '59 Cadillac Eldorado, a '60ish Cadillac of some sort. '53-'55 Oldsmobile, '70 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 W-30, '55 Pontiac Safari wagon, '67 GTO, '70 GTO Judge, '68 Firebird, '69 Trans Am, '71 Trans Am (the 455 option would be nice), '69 Mustang (428 Cobra Jet would be nice), '70 Mustang, '73 Mustang, '61 Lincoln Continental, 49 Mercury or Buick led sled. '69 Dodge Charger, '70 Plymouth Superbird, etc. etc. (I'll stop there -- That's not even including trucks)

I'm thinking of two 2009 Camaros, both black, one V6 with a stick, the other a Z/28 with a small-block and a stick. Drive the V6 daily and park the Z/28 and drive it on the weekends when the weather's really good then just watch the value climb years and years later on.

And maybe a ZQ8 Canyon with the 5.3L small-block and a manual for towing or whatever else I could use it for.

Luxury Car: so many Cadillacs, I can't choose just one...

Family Vehicle: '08 Taurus

Just for fun: an old 911

Truck: Pontiac G8 ST

Economy: Chevy Volt

hey if we wanna talk about the dream hangar. I've got a list that you could gawk at a while...

I'll just narrow it down to a few for right now.

P-47D Thunderbolt

P-38L Lightning

F-4E Phantom II

F-15E Strike Eagle

A-10A Thunderbolt II (or as almost everyone knows it, the Warthog)

B-52H Stratofortress

B-1B Lancer

AH-64D Longbow Apache

UH-1N Iroquois (aka the Huey)

that'd about sum the dream hangar up.

Oh yeah, and a Cessna 182RG

For me, I don't need too many vehicles to be happy.

Daily Driver 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora 3.5 (current)

Future Daily Driver 2010 Cadillac CTC turbodiesel

Inheritance Car 1980 Cadillac Sedan de Ville V6

I love my Aurora and can't see myself parting with it easily, but logically I probably will not own it forever.

If I get married and have a family, then I'd add a Buick Enclave CXL.

Posted

Let's see...

Me: Lincoln MKS EcoBoost, Infiniti Q (the forthcoming one), or Cadillac Zeta-V :smilewide: (daily driver)

Chevy Camaro SS (all black) (toy)

Mrs. Me: Infiniti G35x or Cadillac CTS4 DI 3.6

People Hauler: GMC Acadia AWD (are they planning to come out with a Denali line?)
