i have an all new respect for both vehicles... the taurus ran uber lean with spray, no coolant; windowed the damn block and started up again, and the nissan took half a pound of sand and kept going!

 Mushroom Cloud!

One of my Import-Humper friends had a Nissan Hardbody King-Cab... a 1988 I believe, and It died about 110K Miles but for the last month before the engine bit the dust it was running on 2 cylinders because the other 2 lost compression completely. He was running between Calgary and Lethbridge on a L2 :P
