can anyone find any good set-ups for ram air? or at least a better filter set-up

also i need a skip shift eliminator... slp's website the best for that or should i just get it from the cheapest place?

There are a few set ups for true Ram Air on LS1 GTO's, but I think they are a bit pricey. I remember looking at them over at LS1tech.com a week or so ago.

From what I understand, the skip shift eliminator is just a resistor that doesn't allow the solenoid in the transmission that locks second gear to activate. You can do this with a 2200 Ω resistor from Radioshack. The ones that SLP and other places sell are basically the same thing, but are designed better and can just be plugged in. I would look for the cheapest.

Should i just skip the ram air deal and just get a blackhawk filter? cuz i still havent found any true ram - air set-up yet....

I'm sure there is a middle of the road variant between set ups like these and just a filter. Check out some GTO forums, your bound to find something.

Ok i found ram air..... but theres no links to where in the hell you purchase it. one link led to an Australian company that i cant even order for. The other is for power torque engines and it does not have a link for purchasing there products.... frustration is an understatement :hissyfit:

pfft.... just get a Type-R sticker for your rear quarterpanel... that's good for at least 10-15 hp.
