...Preston and Steve on WMMR? I found their podcast on iTunes over the summer and now listen to every show. I can't get enough of these guys. People must think I'm not quite all there when they see me listening to my iPod, laughing my ass off all by myself. Anyone listen because these guys are totally office.

I have listened to them for years, they use to be on Y100 (100.3), but that station went black so Preston & Steve are now on WMMR (93.3). I still listen to them no matter where I am in the world. I also like Opie and Anthony, even though I find their NY accents a little grating on my nerves, as most of my inlaws are from NY! Preston & Steve rule! :AH-HA_wink:

They were individually on WDRE (alternative rock) in Philly back in the mid 1990s. When that station was closed in 1997, they moved to Y100 (pop-orietned alternative rock) where they became the morning show (along with Marilyn Russell, another 'DRE refugee). When Y100 closed (the same company bought Y100 and WDRE), they moved to WMMR (rock). I've been listening to them the whole time.

Their websites (WMMR and Presont & Steve) are entertaining as well. And if you go to YRock on XPN (http://www.yrockonxpn.org/wdre.html) you can find some clips from when these guys were at WDRE. Steve used to do the funniest commercials on there, something he says he no longer has time to do.

I check their websites if I ever want a good laugh. They find some pretty scrazy stuff.

Steve is one of the quickest comedians I have ever listened to. He is usually the one I am laughing at. I don't know how someone can come up with that stuff so quickly.

Someone is showing their age! :P

Age isn't a factor. I've never been a "morning person", high-energy comedy and rapid-fire talk is the last thing I want to hear while I have coffee and ease my way into wakefulness.

I listen to it all, off and on, depending on what time I'm in the car--tend to vary between 93.3 WMMR and 94.1 WYSP...depending on the music and who's talking.

Don't think I've heard Preston & Steve in a while, but used to listen a lot last year and before.

So, you run the gamut from A to B?

The only good 'funny' morning show I've come across is the Jay and Kevin Show on CAT Country 93.7 KDRK in Spokane. Nice, clean, and witty. I prefer news or music usually.
