"In this day of ever increasing state budget cuts, North Carolina officials have now turned to a less expensive, yet equally efficient way to grind bumps out of our roadways."

NC DOT driver Chuck Iredell: "Welp, I had my old Cutlass sittin' there at er garage one day when Paco, this new guy we hired - that dudn't speak much english, offered to bye er. Next thang I knowed, Paco was out there on old highwae 70 one day just a goin' to town with these new fangled hydro contraptions. When the boss man saw it, he said; I think I fount the answer to all our probems!"

NCDOT officials even went as far as to say that the state would not have to spend the money to paint the 'machinery' with their traditional precautionary yellow simply because most of the 'hydro-matic' cars either already came in that color or equally bright 'visibility enhancing' paint. Coincidentally, roughly 50% of the cars also came equipped with strobe kits and/or 'reflective elements' that are sure to improve safety as well as rachet up the coolness factor for DOT and state officials alike.

Carlos: "Those sparks really bring out your eyes, Raphael."

Raphael: "Um thanks, Carlos. Now do you want to buy the car, or not?"
