Honda Announces Automobiles to be Displayed at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show 2007

Tokyo, Japan — Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced that it will exhibit production and concept automobiles and a number of technologies at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show (sponsored by Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc.), to be held from Saturday, October 27 to Sunday, November 11, 2007, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

The theme for Honda's automobile booth for this year is: “For the endless joy of mobility on our earth”. Based on this theme, Honda will display a variety of advanced environmental technologies that address environmental issues such as a reduction in CO2 emissions, together with the fun of mobility. …

Hybrid vehicles tend to be bulkier than sleek sports cars because of the size and complexity of the hybrid systems, which include a battery, motor, engine, converter and other parts. They're usually not known for their torque, acceleration, handling and innovative design.

The CR-Z comes with a new hybrid system developed by Honda whose breakthroughs allowed designers to get around such restrictions to achieve its lean cutting-edge look, said Morikawa, while declining to give details about the hybrid system and the vehicle. -source

Inspire is just the Japanese version of our Accord with minor changes.

Sorry! The pictures I saw were of a Mugen Honda Inspire and it was a Accord with a well overdone body kit that did to an Accord what Pontiac did to the Grand Am GT in the 90's.

To say the least it was not an improvment.

Here's a bunch of Inspire pics...looks much the same as the US Accord, with some taillight differences, front fascia differences, more wood/plood inside..

They should really do away with the bulging head lights and just use mirror blinkers on all of them.
