Vince is more honest nowadays. He states clearly when something is a real picture, and when something is an illustration. He runs a good blog actually.

While not the prettiest car in the world, the ES is definitely not a "Camry with some leather":

The next ES will be the last Lexus to start as a Toyota.

Hard to admit but the ES interior is top notch for the money... The exterior on the next gen. should be more pleasing to the eye. The ES wins economically compared to the Lacrosse in the arena of price & mpg. Watch out for more H.P. and dispacement for 2007. It'll be tough to ignore this "entry level luxury" offering and it's already well sold in the Lexus line up with the old styling.

I agree. I hate Toyota, and dislike Lexus. When my dad got the new GS I sat in every car in the showroom. The ES's interior is awesome, and they did an excellent job of differentiating it from the Camry. GM should take notes on how to badge cars... You wouldn't know it's a lux Camry just by looking at it. They only reused part in the interior is the radio/navi unit. Then look at the Lucerne/DTS. Same interior... so, Toyota's done a good job in that regard. What struck me is that it looks like the ES will have an all glass roof in the next Gen. VERY COOL. I'd love to see that feature make it's way to the Lucerne/LaX.
