What would you guys think if we offered forums for sponsorship with a small link to a sponsoring site, i.e.

Would this be too obtrusive or diminish from the C&G experience?

Just FYI, this would not lead to every forum being sponsored. This is currently just one forum, likely the Ford forum.

I think that is a great idea. If done right, maybe it can make enough money to pay mods and those doing the work (they deserve it).

Can I sponser the Holden forum? :smilewide: Oh please, oh pretty please! :P

Pay me with 30 minutes of GM intranet access a month and you can sponsor whatever the hell you want.

As long as it isn't a huge, flashing, retarded banner, or hyperlinks in every other word of text it's ok.

You know, at Dodgetalk, they have a section just for sponsors...have you considered that?

fly... no offense, but arent the servers already kinda taxed out?

i mean we are getting these errors server timed out... what not...

more, just means more... you'd have to upgrade to a better server with more bandwidth used up... longer load times, if its just plain text... i dont see any harm, but no one will pay you for plain text...

what about if advertising is not from oem or dealers, but from after-market parts companies and such? that might overcome my objection of having the cadillac forum sponsored by lexus...

How about if I just give you my EDSNET ID and password, that will give you access to a good majority of GM systems. :P

Ha-ha... now you're talking my language. I used to work at EDS's HQ in Plano and spent most of my time in EDSNET and NACOS.

I can already guess what the second character in your EDSNET ID is :AH-HA_wink:

Hey there, we noticed you're using an ad-blocker. We're a small site that is supported by ads or subscriptions.
