wikipedia = meh.

GMI is also off, but maddeningly enough, Roger & Me is still up there, assumedly as some sort of factual reference. Who votes for that to be removed?? 3 yes's and it's gone....

Wow, you really don't like Wikipedia! I think it's very informative, even if it is a free encyclopedia that anyone can add stuff to. Well, to each his own. Edited by corvette_dude729

Wow, you really don't like Wikipedia!  I think it's very informative, even if it is a free encyclopedia that anyone can add stuff to.  Well, to each his own.

I've had running arguments with people there who've been clearly in the wrong ('The '48 Tucker is a V-6!'), and I can smell the reasons thru the phone lines: 'I'm a regular contributor, I don't know who you are but as the self-appointed WikiSentry, I must revert your edit!'. Other times the editorial agendas come thru loud & clear, requiring extensive number crunching to prove to them they are, as known before checking, wrong again.

Like dart sez- for general overviews it's fine, but for specific info- don't make any bets using Wiki as your proof.

somehow i cant see how this site is on there and cz28 isnt... that is far much larger community of GM enthusiasts... but there are quite unfactual information on that website... example, the cadillac 16 was powered by basically 2 northstars... when if i remember correctly it was 2 ls1's

It was a 13.6L OHV VVT DOD V16 90 degree block. It had a single intake manifold, which must have been huge. You could say it was 2 6.8L V8s, which I think was the rumored displacement of the C6 Z06 engine, but that got changed as we all know. The XV12 was a 750 hp DOHC V12 that was N* based if I remember right it was 7.5L It also had DOD, a pretty cool concept on a DOHC engine. Also remember the 4.3L XV8 a 75 degree V8 that was DI, VVT, Twin cam in block, and 3 valve headed. That engine sounds really, really cool.
