I really want a B-59 now... Thank you 68 and Balthazar for starting a new obsession (Like I didn't have enough already)

Oh...

And the pix...

Wouldn't mind picking the Chevelle up... 70 has always been one of my favorite years (Second only to '67) But the coolest find is the Power Wagon.

That GSX is very nice and it's almost as if I've seen it before (strange) Too bad they're letting that GT rot like that. I really get pissed when people do that. One guy up here has a '67 Chevelle SS and a 55 Bel Air just sitting in his yard rusting away. I and a bunch of my mechanic friends have (at different times) stopped and offered to buy them but he keeps saying he's going to restore them.

I went to a car show this summer and found a 1930s Shell oil tanker... It was rusted to hell and back and would've taken A LOT to fix but if I could've ever got it fixed it would've been a show stopper. the guy wanted $1200 for it. I'm still kicking myself in the ass on a daily basis for not buying it and stashing it in a barn until I finished college.

FoG:

I hear ya... that's my problem I want about 250+ cars just to "start" my car collection. :P

You should totally join the ranks of '59 Buick owners, Buick-59.com is a great resource

for any and all B-59 related things. Best forum ever for just one specific model year of

one specific brand.

CMG:

That picture reminds me of the story about all 1969 Yenkos setting of geiger counters

since they were stockpiled and awaited conversion to SYCs in a radioactrive field.

My spots today:

1971 Pontiac Catalina 4dr post, silver & in great shape

1968 Chevrolet Nova Pro Street, white w/ rainbow racing stripes

1933 Ford 5-window semi-stock mild-rod

1980s (or late 70s) heavily customised Pro-Street Chevy/GMC pickup

1980-5 Cadillac Busltle Back with a carriage top

same 67 Razorback & 69 Toronado from a few weeks ago on someone's front lawn

1972 Chevrolet Impala ragtop, white w/ black interior

  • 2 weeks later...

Saw a couple of points of interest at the Wawa this morning. The first was a very clean 5.0 Mustang notchback that sounded great. I haven't seen one of those in a long time, although they were everywhere in the late 80s /early 90s. The second was a Highlander plastered with Marine Corps stickers, the driver got out wearing a Marine Corps T-shirt with "University of Vietnem" on the back.
