Hmmm.  Wonder why pics of the Denali came out before the Escalade if the Escalade is getting produced first?  That's what I want to see!

Good question. The Escalade must be somthing very eye popping exciting

If I remember right the Escalade is slated for Detroit.

i don't think they'd wait that long. SEMA? LA?

i read somewhere the pics will be shown at the start of next month....

if they wait too long people will die of anticipation.

Besides Detroit has the BRX and new CTS....

SEMA would not surprize me considering they want to target the "bling bling" market. . . what a perfect place.

On a GMTV thing they said the Escalade would debut "at various locations across the country in early Nov." Denali pics came out first because they just wanted to do it with the Yukon, which is before the Escalade.

So from the schedule, and if Cadillac gets the "best for last" monniker (regular and EXT), that means the Avalanche should be next to be released, picture wise?

I do like how GM is introducing these vehicles only a few months before production instead of a year +. Hopefully this will be their trend from now on.

Any word on silverado production yet?  <_<

i've heard a bunch of people on this board, and at work say 3rd quarter... about august or september... as most usual next year models start to show up...

There have been several hundred produced for executives, testing, etc. I remember seeing a post from a guy in Texas who saw them at the plant. 2003 Cadillac CTS went into production October 2001 and on sale January 2, 2002 as a 2003 model. GM has done this before.

Saleable units have been made.  Also, the dates are off for start of production, some of them, not all.

The dates are right from GM Canada. I have a dealer website that I go to, to look up information like this. Those dates were as of this week.
