OK, I'm in Florida and I've started to see some 2008 LaCrosses on the road as well as at a few dealerships.

The grille is overpowering. The shape is right, but the vertical chrome bars are too pronouced. It is a little too much bling for a car that otherwise has subtle and proportioned contours.

We're likely replacing our van with an Allure and we're going for a leaseback/leftover 2007 rather than a 2008... I like the front end on the 2005-2007 as it's more conservative... At least it's not a Lucerne Super...

I have yet to see an 08 LaCrosse on the Road. I did see my first Enclave on the road last week... it blew past me at like 100 in the other direction. Had a very profound presence... very different for Buick.

I haven't seen any '08 LaCrosses, but I have seen several Buick Enclaves around Chicago - and each time, I know exactly what they are and they look great. (And this afternoon, I saw a white Saturn Outlook in a parking lot and it, too, easily dominated anything else around, both in look and proportion.)

Buick fixed several things on the 08: std trip computer and leather/telescoping wheel, more impressive if slightly too large grille, 3.05 axle, std chrome body moldings etc but I really wished they would clean up the steering and handling on the base CX and CXL and replace the 2 existing engines with a 224 Hp 3500 and at least the 252 HP version of the 3.6 in the Aura. I would purchase one of these if they fixed these issues. I really want something that has more power than a 1996 Regal and handling equivalent to my Intrigue, at least as far as the 3800 cars are concerned. The CXS would benefit greatly from the Aura 3.6 with it's greater torque 251 vs 225 that would enable Buick to lower the axle to 3.29:1 from the current 3.69:1 that would help boost mileage back up to at least 27 highway.
