I've seen worse (uglier) things, like every single Camry ever made!!!

It just doesn't work with that greenhouse...that and the rear isn't very creative.

I saw one of those in person once...

I saw one of those awful things at the Chesterbrook cruise night. :nono:

The Vette, on the other hand, is a very nice package that was pitched to GM as an anniversary model. GM declined so the company made them publically available (they look great in blue).

The same company built the Buick Blackhawk show car and many other concepts.

I used to have the link for their site, I'll check for it.

I'm just saying there's worse kits out there and certainly

there's plenty of 100% stock cars that are muchj uglier!

What's the matter with the batchtub 356 speedster Porsche replica?

Nothing wrong with that...seems like a faithful reproduction of a 356....unlike the mutant T-Bird/49 Ford.

The proportions are just too far off- they have zero flow. I was looking at a slammed '50 Ford yesterday- the front & rear clips look very good on the original shell.

The 'Studebaker' S-10 conversion looks really good, but that's a full-rebody, isn't it?

In my opinion, the 80s/90s Thunderbird roofline and greenhouse is one of the worst designed in American history... And these body kits prove it only empasize it more. Edited by aaaantoine

Oooo, I like it too. Maybe you can adapt that kit to your SKY? :AH-HA_wink:

Well no, that would be just wrong. The SKY will stay exactly how it is.

But my 74 year-old mother-in-law does have a '95 Mercury Cougar. Unfortunately, the rooflines of that car wouldn't look right with the '49 kit. Too bad she didn't opt for the T-bird instead back them. :duh:

It's funny..my parents' first new car was a '49 Ford... and my mom used to have an '89 T-Bird SC. She's 75 now, and has an '05 Lincoln Navigator, '96 Lincoln Town Car, and a '90 Mustang LX 5.0 convertible.

I wonder what she would think of that T-Bird w/ the 49 Ford front/rear...
