Cool! I have been waiting to see stuff like this for ages! I was hoping for something along the lines of the sneak shots we got of the Challenger a couple of weeks ago...but the wheels look great!

The Chevy II based 1965 "Chevrolet Panther" prototypes that

predated & did the engineering/ prototype testing work for the

1st gen. Camaro were just as ugly.

This car is not aout cosmetics, this is to make sure this car has

a solid foundation in terms or powertrain/chassis/suspension/

brakes/rear end etc.

Pre-emptive strike for the retards who will

undoubtedly say things like:

- it's ugly

- it's got Dodge Stealth tail lights

- The door/rear 1/4 fit seems off

- why does it looks awkward

- does it have a Saturn Ion QuAd coupe style rear door?

and my personal FAVORITE:

- Oh well, told you it would have a thick B-pillar!

Anyway, where do I get a tank like that? I need one, I'm going to name it the Lion Tamer. :smilewide:

You'll have to do way worse than that to crush my Holden mug and Holden hat. :P

Here is Fbodfathers reply to the photo we have here.

No Camaro 4 - door. Period.

For your consideration:

The C5 Corvette was developed using, among other things "CORMAROS" -- which were C5 chassis and drive trains underneath a Camaro body. (there's one on display now and then at the National Corvette Museum)

We are certainly not going to put a Camaro out there to do early testing where you can actually see the car. (that would give the competition too much info....) So, sometimes we'll disguise the test mule.

I'm not saying what you saw was a test mule for Camaro - -but what I am saying is that sometimes, there are test mules right under your nose -- and you completely miss them!
