i guess it has a limp home mode just like the northstars. if you lose coolant, you can still drive it home.

i'll be able to take pics of it this weekend.

Not a bad looking ride; I've always thought the second generation Corvairs to be good-looking. Post some pics when you see it!

i hope he doesn't try to take me for a ride in it. I hear corvairs are unsafe!

I wonder if i can talk him into putting spinners / dubs on it.

reg, as a surprise, you should stop at Pep Boys and pick up a set of plastic chrome 13" spinner hubcaps for your dad's car, the ones that light up. He'll be so proud of you!

I love Corvairs. Almost bought a 1966 4-door hardtop Monza 110 in 2005.

I saw a Corvair on the way to work today, actually. I saw it drive by and thought of you and your Dad right away. This one wasn't a convertible, tho it was red!
