This is my 2003 Chevy Malibu LS it has the 3100 LG8 V6... Its my first car and i really didn't know if i was going to like it at first, but then i drove it a little and i fell in love. It's LG8 pushes 170hp stock which isn't horrible for a car its size. The 3100lbs it wieghs is heavy but tolerable. I love the feel of stepping on the accelerator and i want to do some engine work now... suggestions would be great!

Nice car...I personally don't like them because the ones I drove had squishy brake feel, lifeless steering, uncomfortable/cheap plastic steering wheel with plastic "stitching" that dug into my hand...and I found the accelerator too sensitive/not progressive enough.

But that's just me...looks nice in black..hope she's good to you!

I took my driver's test in an '00 Malibu, my Grandma's at the time. The brakes decided to randomly lock up on me when I was coming to a stop. Damn thing. :P

Looks nice, though.

Keep on truckin' in your Malibu, sir, and welcome to C&G, the car looks good. From what I remember, the Malibu earned some quality awards. Strangely, I don't remember the Intrepid or Millenia doing any such thing. :AH-HA_wink:

Welcome to C&G! GM's Wilmington assembly plant produced this car from 1997 - 1999. I test drove this car from Oklahoma City to Wilmington, Delaware for GM in 1996, it was a fun road trip.
