Apparently Toyota is well aware that the North American market may view the Yaris compact as wanting in the power and handling department. Stuart found a Yaris on display at the L.A. auto show tuned by Street Image with a ton of TRD parts that may address this issue directly. Highlights include 18-inch wheels, a Sportivo suspension, lightweight flywheel and mechanical LSD. Street Image, known for its tuned Scions and Avalons from SEMA, also added an Eclipse AV/Nav system and custom rear subwoofer housing.

makes sense. I've seen modded echo's, Aveo's et all running around, so there is definitely a market for'em. Laughing at this is the same kind of mindset that got GM lagging in the sport compact market years ago
