I think Jeff will win this year. His car is strong, and he looks like his former self

Exactly, this is the old Jeff back again. Also, Jarrett did not make the show, Toyota's money wasn't very well spent on him.

At about 70 laps to go I saw a David Balney's Toy car as #4, I was there will be some champagnes in Japan. But then he was yet to pit. ended up like 11.

Well good for Blaney I guess. He is a good driver, and is a blast to watch in a sprint car. It's not his fault that his owner hops in with every new manufacturer that comes into the sport. He also missed the show last week though.

Once Jeff Gordon got past the distraction of his ugly divorice, got remarried he turned into his former self. He is happier than he has been in years and it shows. I think this year Jeff will get his 5th title. He'll get close to and maybe pass Darrell Waltrip and Bobby Allison on the all time win list. Waltrip and Allison are tied for 3rd with 84 wins a piece.

My fear is that with how Jimmy is winning (4 races already... harks back to Jeff's own 98 season), when it comes down to the Chase, Jimmy will most likely get the championship unless runs into alot of back luck late in the season. The same thing happened in 2004 when the Chase was first introduced... Jeff collected the most points all season and would have had his 5th championship if had not been for the Chase.

Now you can take the extra 10 bonus points for winning a race into the chase with you though, so if Gordon and Jimmie keep winning the way they are, they will definately be ahead of the other 10 once they start the chase. I have a feeling this may be Gordon's year though. Gordon shows a ton more discipline when he gets in tight spots, and IMO he is the better driver.

Despite the fact that Jimmie has won more races, Jeff still leads the points by 211. No matter how many times NASCAR changes the points system consistency still wins championships, and right now Jeff Gordon is the most consistent driver. While Jimmie Johnson may very well be on track to winning 15 races this year that still doesn't guarentee him the title. Besides that you have to look out for the Gibbs Racing guys. Tony Stewart, and Denny Hamlin are really running the COT races well but they have yet to cash in. Tony is a second half driver and usually starts winning after the 2nd trip to Daytona. Denny put on a clinic at Pocono, twice. Jeff Gordon is not going to walk away with it, neither will Jimmie Johnson, but as of right now they are the favorites to win it all. Don't forget Jeff Gordon owns part of Jimmie Johnson's car, so he wins either way.

Heh... Well, my den is about 8' by 9' and already has my drawing desk, two shelves, and a bunch of crap in it. I don't think either would fit. I'm not opposed to more diecast models, though. :P
