It all started this morning on hempstead turnpike(6 lanes). I stopped at a stoplight like every normal citizen when all of a sudden the saturn got hit from behind. Not enough to deploy the airbags, but hard enough that I was shaking. So, I look back and see some late 20-something year old guy wiping coffee off of his dash. So I put my hazards on and pulled into the nearest parking lot. He followed. Of course he was in a new Sonota. Fortunatelly there was no damage to my car. His front plate was dented but it was his fault. Turns out he was looking to get his coffee for a sip and didn't stop at the light....therefore crashing into me. So, I wasted 5 minute of my life freaking out.

I never thought I'd say this but thank god for unpainted bumpers! I would've has some paint damage.

FUN FUN FUN!

Yeah. That road sucks big time. Try making the left on it out of the Coliseum parking lot after an Islanders game. Whew.

Another coffee related accident. Join the club.

Dude your airbags won't ever deploy from a rear impact. The sensors are in the front, and they have to be hit.

Glad it was a minor lovetap.

Oh, and with a cell phone in one hand and coffee in the other... was the Snotta supposed to drive itself?

Hope nothing hits the rear of the Intrepid...that bumper's just plastic. Someone hit the `87 Shadow once and knocked the bumper partway off one of its mounting brakcets...they pulled over and helped my mom put it back on...no damage to the bumper or the Shadow....they don't make `em like they used to.

Wow... lucky I guess. Still unpainted (gray) bumpers are ugly as sin!

No such things as airbags for a rear end. Your headrest does all the protection.
