Haha, the '05 Stanley Cup winners. It's difficult enough to predict a team's success after a regular off-season. With the time off they've had lately, it'd be pretty much impossible to guess. My guess is SI just threw all the teams into a hat and pulled out the Flames.

Don't count your chickens untill they're hatched. <_< B)

First it was the Patriots, then it was the Red Sox (after 86 years) and now it's time for the Bruins to go kick some @$$.

Do you really think any team can beat the Wings? We have Osgood back, with Legacy in net. Not to mention Zetterberg has resigned along with Chelios, Shannahan, as well as Yzerman. Furthermore, we have Datsyuk that has ditched his homeland to play here.

Maltby isn't stupid...and he's pretty confident we'll win our division, easily and snatch up the cup once more.

Hey everyone, come in here and say your favorite hockey team is going to win the Stanley Cup. Predictions are retarded, especially after a long work stoppage. Who knows what kind of condition the players are in.

Hey-not so fast... :P

The wings have a good chance-as long as nobody gets hurt.

The Wings, Flames, Wild, Ducks, have a pretty good chance.

I will say this though-It WILL be someone from the West. Sorry, 68. :P

I'm just saying, its been a long time since a lot of these guys have played hockey at this level of competition. Plus the older guys are even older, age has a serious effect on all bodies, hockey players have to have it really rough. We wont really know how things will work themselves out until they get on the ice and play games that count.

The mighty Blues will drink the sweet, nectar of success and hoist the Stanley Cup on '05/'06!!!!!!

OK, I know the Blues have zero chance to do anything this year. Still, you gotta be a good fan, right?

Coming from an Islander fan, Senators v. Flames in the Cup finals. The Isles will probably get bounced in the first round like they do every year.
