I had it from 3 until I went to bed last night and woke back up with it. All morning I've been rubbing various pressure points in my face, neck, and palm. Any other suggestions? I think I'll take a nap on my lunch break.

Ooh, caffeine has the negative affect on me and actually tends to give me headaches.. that's what the doctor said at least.

Anyway, I just took 2 Excedrins, had two glasses of water, drove around in this beautiful weather for about 40 minutes with the windows down and sunroof open for lunch, came back and had a pretty good meal. I feel better now; we'll see if the feeling subsides completely...

I usually take 3 Tylenol or 2 Advil/Ibeprophen. When I had the flu and had 105 temp, they gave me 4 advil...which is a huge does. I find that (form me) Advil works better than Tylenol...but3 tylenol and some coffee helps a lot.

If you started feeling better after the meal, it could be that you had a hypoglycemic reaction. That does nor mean you have hypoglycemia. It just means you blood sugar was way off.

I've also noticed that a cool breeze across my face and head makes a sinus headache much less painful.

I tend to get very bad headaches as well. The best thing for me to do is curl up in a dark room and try to get some sleep. If I go a long time (a couple of days)without caffeine, they get worse.

Good luck on feeling better. If the headache persists and you can't make it go away, see someone about it. I had a bad case of sinusitus last month while triyng to recover from pneumonia and it drove me half nuts.

NOS, nothing ever worked for me so I know how painful this can be. Then, when in an architectural desing lab in grad school, I had a B-A-D headache. I asked this dude across from me for anything for a headache. He had Advil. I remember that, in 1/2 hour, my headache was gone. It turns out that ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, etc.) can knock out a headache for me whereas all of the other stuff is worthless.

I would suggest that route, as it has worked for me. If you think it is food related, then 7-Up and bland crackers has done the trick as well. Or, if something you ate didn't agree with you (I am allergic to MSG), inducing vomiting is absolutely ok...while gross, you will feel better soon enough because you have ridden yourself of "the offender." It if persists, you need to see a physician promptly.

I get headaches frequently...(used to be every day when I was younger).

I just pop around 6 ibuprofens depending on the severity and that tends to do the trick.

I wish I could get rid of all my headaches. Unfortunately my parents won't let me sell my sister. Anyways, I usually just sleep it off and drink some water or Ginger Ale or 7 Up. Some orange juice or something usually helps but I don't know if it Vitamin C that will do that.

I had a headache yesterday, too, and a friend said he had one. Sinus, I guess, not sure what spring will bring. Edited by ocnblu
