Engine Noises

Yeah I have a 2000 Pontiac WS6 Trans-am. I was flipping through channels and i watched this show and found your website so i hope you guys can help me.

I was looking at some stuff under the hood and that stick that says Engine oil was pure black. So I added some Clorox to try to clean it up a little. And about 30 minutes in to a drive around town there was this horrible noise like nails on a chalk board coming from my Engine. I took it to a dealer and they said that if I'm lucky i can get it fixed for under $5000. I think there on crack. What do you guys think is wrong think i can get some of those additives to try and fix the noise. its really annoying! For now I'm driving the parents Mercedes-Benz 2007 CLK550. Its a sweet car!

he registered today and his name is Craigthestoner

that car deserved better! Why did some stupid person get it. Give me a good post so i can tell him. just no curse words.
