I was just making a CD with a bunch of weird songs. Since I'm under extreme stress right now Im about to go to Port Huron and drive to the park look at the Blue water bridge. I need to clear my mind and what a way to start the day? take 94 to 26 mile and take that and back roads to the water and drive it up. If I return is a different question.

But for a CD I made, god what a mix,

Free bird

simple man

Kashmir

Riders on the storm

Sultans of Swing

panama

Jump

crazy

purple haze

voodoo child

Roxxxanne

Black betty

Growing pains

Faimly Traditions

and holy diver to finish it

i have like .00001 seconds left.

Is that a odd mix or no?

Tell us about your odd mix or strict list of music found on your mixed tape.. CD's?

Thats a good drive, I usually hop on 26 at Van Dyke and take that till it ends at King road. Then I go south to Marine City along the water, but the drive up to Port Huron is a good one too if you go along the water.

Did you know that Tim Allen has a house on Hawthorne Road along the water?

I always found Boston's "Smokin'" to be a great cruisin' song. I also like "Metallic Blue" by House of Lords, "Inside Information" by Foreigner, "Here & Now" by Letters to Cleo, and (for fun) "The Majesty of Rock" by Spinal Tap.

Any Van Halen song from the first six albums is great for cruising, especially with the windows down in the summer.

As long as the playlist has Cinderella's 'Gypsy Road', Def Leppard's 'Rocket' and David Lee Roth's 'Ladies Night in Buffalo' in it, I'm set.

Edit: It also needs 'The Touch' by Stan Bush! Rock out to one of the theme songs from the Transformers movie! :metal:

I didn't know Tim Allen lives over there? I knew he had a place in 2 in Michigan though.

How about Def Leppard's "High n' Dry" or "Hit and Run" instead?

A really good friend of mine from college (no longer a friend) and I used to proclaim:

(said a la Jeff Spicoli from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High")

Hmm. I've gone up to Algonac through backroads.. Maybe one day between the time work ends and school starts (I get a week or two off), I'll take a trip up the coast...
