Sweet. I think there still is a market for ElCamino-type vehicles in the US. Hope this proves to be true.

But you're not the only one who wouldn't mind seeing a new ElCamino at a Chevy dealer (or GMC, for that matter).

I don't see why this couldn't happen. I wouldn't expect a whole lot more than a re-badged UTE, but it would be something relatively low volume that could be imported after the NA-designed G8 comes and fill the production capacity in AU.

seriously if it comes here i would buy it over a truck because I dont off road that much any more but need the bed of a truck. as long as it can hold several tons in the bed.
