CYPRESS, Calif., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitsubishi Motors North

America, Inc., (MMNA) today reported January sales of 9,383 units, up 25.6%

It's staggeringly amazing how quickly the media & public are forgiving mitsu for one of the industry's worse public relations disaster in history... yet I still read media references to the Vega.

You know a company is full of $h! when they don't even release a chart to show how poorly they're doing.

And, OMG, they broke their streak of more-than-$10,000 units a month! Uh-oh!

it's so funny how you continue to think they are dead when sales are increasing.

c'mon, grow up, accept that they will still be around and just get over it.

you wanna pick on some rice cars, pick on Chery.

Mitsubishi's literal sales increases are marginal at best. The US network can't continue starving on 10,000 sales a month. Nothing is really coming down the pipeline for Mitsubishi that'll change that... not even the new Lancer. The new underpowered and ugly Outlander will be forgotten as soon as the new VUE arrives.

How can you dismiss 25 years of outright multiple-stage corporate-sponsored lies over life-threatening design defects?

Again- I point to the longevity of the Vega in the media- a car out of production for 30 years and Chevy/GM is still taking low-blows about. Mitsu is Here and Now. I for one will not relent: mitsu is Dead Car Rolling; Godspeed the flames.

the number says up 25.6% though. i guess that just shows postive sales momentum.

It would not surprise me if other automakers including our very own, don't have some things in the closet as well.

I can run off a hefty list I found of stuff DCX is hiding.

25% of $h! is shi

The percentage doesn't matter, the fact is that the actual number of sales is extremely low and that probably wont change much.

I like a lot of what Mitsubishi is doing. The outlander I think looks pretty good, it's interior in my opinion blows away the Rav4's, and I am even starting to see more eclipses around.

I think the Lancer will be a significant vehicle for Mitsu.

for those that think the Civic is too out there....and the mazda3 is too much of a chick car, and the corolla is too soft and the sentra is too wierd. yeah, it should see some increases.
