In the front driver's side. <_<

Anybody have the part numbers for the lower deflector and retainers, fender liner and retainers, and the air deflector and the fasteners? It was a light bump, so bumper itself isn't damaged.

Thanks!

Already been there this week. Smoked the Camaro against a curb on gratiot in a turn around. cost me about $120.

Use this to search local junkyards for the part. its normally cheaper than dealer prices.

Thanks for the link, tried it and didn't turn out the parts I need. I think my car might be a bit too new to have scraps.

Funny you say that- I watched a G6 on its way to the yard....got rear-ended pretty good....

Well I do see trashed G6s once and a while, but given there's only one junkyard in Kitchener-Waterloo, chances are slim.

Also, I checked some new parts prices, the parts involved aren't that expensive. I'd rather put new parts on my car. Problem is the site doesn't have the numbers.

I curbed my Z before--Hard. Bent the passenger side front suspension out of whack, and had to get it replaced. I say just do what I did and let the Insurance company worry about part numbers. your insurance rate will jack up, yeah, but it may just be a little less painful.

Didn't you do that with your Cavalier? :P

No, I haven't. Although one air deflector/fender liner did cracked before.

Actually the wheel didn't hit the curb, but the plastics under did crack. Only the bottom of the front bumper, not major damage, so that's why I'm replacing the parts myself. The plastics shed into pieces probably because of collective damage (I'm at times pretty bad at front-in parking in spots with those annoying mobile curbs) and the cold weather. I hit a pothole in the past, it took the wheel with it, but the suspension was intact.

I guess this is an advantage of long overhangs. :P

go to the parts counter at a dealership since they will tell you the part number if you ask for it and if they ask you to buy them be like I'm going to think about it and try to find the parts cheaper or whatever. Unless if you want top pay dealer prices. Which are $50 us for a Belt and $35 us for a simple gas cap i don't even want to know what major parts cost.

I actually just went to the dealer and ordered the parts. Bill totals to $165.50, both the front center deflector and the fender liner/left air deflector. It's rather difficult to get parts around here, and I want this fixed soon, as the broken liner is next to touching the wheel (dangerous).

The parts does show much cheaper online, but I don't want to wait that long, not to mention shipping.

We up here in Canada are just around to be ripped off for these things.

Hey Toni, did you get new fasteners? A lot of the hardware can be reused if it is taken apart correctly. Good luck getting it back together, vehicle damage is always a pain, but this sounds minor, you should have it back to new in no time.
