Hey Satty: How's the little one doing BTW?

He's doing fine, except for an ear infection thats lingering a bit. the doctor said he'll be fine. No matter how uncomfortable he is though, he will grab my chin with one hand and go back to playing with whatever he had been playing with with his other hand. He's got one hell of a grip.

Satty, my little guy had 9 ear infections - all before he turned 1 (a downside to having to rely on daycare 5 days a week). When he was just 13 months old, he had surgery to get the tubes installed. They have really helped him a lot; only one major infection so far, and minor irritation recently. That's not to say he hasn't had other illnesses, but the ears are becoming a thing of the past now. I had my reservations about the surgery, but it was quick, little pain afterwards, and no implications to date. We go back to the ear doctor every 2-3 months for check-ups.

P.S. - what is it with the grips these guys have today? Going on 18 months old on 2/8, but his grip is getting stronger. I have a beard, so when it's not trimmed short, he can really grab on to it :o
