Could 07 be the end of the Monte? There was no Monte on the floor of the Detroit show which I thought was strange for a car still being built for a short time linger.

They did have one GXP.

Thanks for posting. We should be hearing about the new Corvette base engine shortly if it's less than 5 months away from production. Also, I hope that the '08 T900s have the 6-speeds, and that we don't have to wait until the '08 CY for those.

I just talked to a few dealerships....both told me they are not ordering any more Montes.......

From what I heard, production of the Monte ends in March.

Wonder when Malibu starts production.

EDIT: Nevermind, totally missed it for some reason. Saw Aura and my eyes just looked to the next line.

So Uplander is the only returning minivan for 2008? Oh well, 1 out of 4 survivors ain't bad, but I'm willing to bet most Uplanders will go to fleets the few remaining months of the model year on the market, then they'll die, and virtually no one will miss those hunks of junk.

I wish there was a few Zetas on that list. :(

I don't understand why they are killing the Monte Carlo so soon, with the W-Body Impala continuing. It's not like sales have dropped drasticaly. Also, too bad the Uplander is the only minivan surviving. They killed them off from best looking to worst, leaving the ugliest turd for last.

From what I heard, they plan to really cut back the Ws this year...

partly from crappy sales, the other reason being to make room for the Mailbu, which will be getting close in size anyways..

I also expect more Impys, and lots of GPs in renatl fleets this year....

i wonder how many w-bodies they plan to produce this coming year.... if one line is/could shut down and make the impy/laX/GP all on one line in enough volume...early switch for the down line?

wonder if the Coblat is getting a mid life cycle refresh...?

I can say one thing people I know that work at Lorsdtown still do not know what is going on with the Coblat.

Hopefully 25-35%....

"Tahoe / Yukon Denali / Suburban / Yukon XL Denali - Janesville - July 23rd, 2007"

Is it safe to assume this includes hybrid versions as well?

The reason I ask is... it seems like my dad has something against getting a Saturn (Outlook), and my mom doesn't like the Acadia, and doesn't want to wait for the Enclave. So... we might be getting another Tahoe, and I thought it would be cool to get a hybrid...
