Sweet!

BTW ... is that dashboard out, too? Are you changing that ... or, keeping it what it was when I saw it last August?

It's all apart, and getting a new I/P, built from scratch.

First off, the Chevy VOLT: I'm not very enthused, the styling is just "ehhh..."

and the idea is not revolutionary.Maybe most of us will own something like

this but not EVERYONE and almost certainly not ME. XP's dad bought his

1937 Packard off some guy in Maine who daily drove it up to the late 1980s

so I'm not the only crazy prick that dislikes modern cars...

"They'll never get ME into one of them NEW, MODERN fan-dan-gled 47 Packards!"

Second: I kind of like that litle Chevy Dustmite/WRX Flee hatchback.

Looks even better than the press photos.

Third: Ohhhh.... I get it I/P = instrument panel :P

Agreed. The more I think about it, the more I'd love to stuff my Riviera in storage and not look at it for twenty years until it, too, becomes sort of an "old" car. Meanwhile there's a big ugly brownish colored '69 Delta 88 four door post on craigslist Boston with a 455 that's calling my name as a daily driver. I also have an '80 Sedan DeVille (with the good motor, the cast iron block carbureted 368 and NOT that aluminum HT4100 bull$h!) lined up for short change, but the Delta would be first choice. Why can't I have money and space when I need it?! :hissyfit:

yeaaaah- nobody at work has ever said dashboard that I know of....

funniest is COCKpit module. Usually Inst Pnl Asm

The volt has many variants in the planning ...one version will make you happy :D

I have some Camaro convert posters 3/4 Rear shot with attitude from the show....

Lookin good. I went to the show too. I grabbed quite a few Camaro posters and they are all gone. I have one for myself but everyone else I knew wanted one. Good news for Chevy I guess. The Volt is excellent. I gave my auto shop teacher a pamphlet on it and he wants one already. He is a GM guy and he loves the muscle cars but because of gas, he loves it. He said he would probably buy one if they come out.
