If you’ve noticed my absence for the past week, it’s because I’m returning from a break from C&G. It wasn’t my choice to take the break, though-my home computers and our Verizon FiOS connection decided to. I can’t imagine what could make them block the site for a little over a week and then just resume allowing access to it as normal this morning. I thought that the server finally went down the toilet until I asked my friend to check if his computer would load the site, which he said did “super-fast.” Technology’s a marvelous thing sometimes, no? I’m pissed that I missed the auto show coverage here. After following the NAIAS on Inside Line, Winding Road, and Leftlane News, I can safely say they aren't as engaging a read as C&G is.

Anyway, any of y’all have any strange technological malfunctions to share?

Sometimes my Temp gauge light doesn't work...but sometimes it does. I have no idea why...but I can see with the other gauges lit, so it doesn't bother me.

Also, I can't host a game on TA Spring cuz my Router's firewall is a dick.

my gas gauge doesn't work normally, unless it's parked facing up hill for a while, but if it moves it's moving way to fast to F.

I allways liked TA, not tried Spring..... you going to have to get "Total Commander"(right?) ? looks awesome, huge, and sweet!

you tried the same ports as TA uses to see if it'd let you out/in?

It works and everything, it's just sometimes the light will not come on for that gauge...I dunno why, but it's not a big deal I guess.

I've tried the ports it uses but nothing. I loved the original TA, and (I think it's called) Supreme Commander looks awesome. TA: Spring is a free, 3D version of TA, with cool maps and mods (many of which are mods from the original). I love the game...I just got done with a match actually.

I do... I haven't been able to access C&G for the past week with my internet. I kept getting these messages against a white screen.

Warning: do_output(../mkportal/conf_mk.php) [function.do-output]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/.curly/flybrian/cheersandgears.com/forums/sources/classes/class_display.php on line 76

I decided to use WiFi, on a different IP and I'm now in... but I'm curious as to why this has happened...

My fuel gauge works like a tachometer... it flies to full when I accelerate, and as long as I'm not gunning it, it even slightly shifts along with the transmission into second gear... after that, it doesn't shift, but it stays close to full until I've hit the speed I wish to be at.
