What's this car under wraps? Classic car? Current Car? Concept Car? Production vehicle we are unaware of? Whatever it is, I'm unfamiliar with it's overall shape and it appears that it has a hatchback on it.

Ugh I wanna go to the Detroit Auto show so bad. I'm ALMOST willing to drive up from Dallas just to see the newly designed GM section. I think I'd be slaughtered for driving an Accord into the heart of the motor city though :o

It's looks kind of low to be an HHR and it appears that the roof kind of slopes toward the rear (a la Pontiac Vibe, Toyota Matrix). Though, it could just be the lighting and I guess it would be an HHR.

I can't believe nobody mentioned the SAAB 9-4x yet!

It's too big to be a 9-4x. Besides, you can tell through the thin protective cover that it's the 9-7x.

When I really think about it, I doubt GM would have any of it's concepts and brand new vehicles out on the floor so early. Not in an age where so many people have camera phones and auto magazines break embargoes.

I am not convinced of that. The vehicle in question looks way to thin to be a 9-7 and we all know the 9-7 won't be in production much longer at all. That combined with knowing the 9-4 will debut at Detroit it only makes sense.
