had to refresh about 6 times to actually get to the front page at ~1230am today....

has been happening a few times recently too. just letting you know

It's gotten really bad lately...I got a brand-new error message that said "IPS Driver Error".

Pictures have nothing to do with it.

Yeah I had the sever error on 2 different occasions yesterday....and that was just yesterday. <_<

Does the server do this because there are so many people trying to access the website?

That would be a bandwidth issue...so the sever would say bandwidth exceeded or something like that.

So... this really did happen and it wasn't my computer alone doing it?

That's a relief in one way, yet still supremely irritating in another.

Hopefully the host eradicates the problem they are causing us.

Yeah, I was fine, even for a while in the lounge, then when I clicked on Word Association, I got the error... then I couldn't get into any thread in the lounge... until I refreshed, then I was fine again in all threads.

I just heard from the hosting company, looks like we're going to have to face some downtime, it'll probably be Thursday thru Sunday.

Umm, nonstop? How can it take them that long to fix the problem? They should move us to another server while they fix it.

The site was all but inaccessable for the last 40 minutes, to the point where I couldn't even get the HTTP 500 errors to pop up.

I do not know what it is but if deleting the 451,631,780,362 page

word association thread might help than DO IT.

I get error 500 pages like 7 times in a row these days.

About 1/2 the time now, I get a slow response and a timeout and 404 error when clicking on a forum or post in a forum on here...what's up, is the site being hosted on a 486 with a dail up or something? :( It's been getting worse the last week or so..
