I want to get my sister a lil gift for her bird, I cant afford all that much, so I was thinkin about some speakers. Right now she has to wear headphones when shes in it. Anyway I was looking in the trunk and saw that its got 6x9's in the rear, and www.sounddomain.com says that it should have 4x10's in the dash, but I dont see where their at. Was it like an option to have dash speakers? Does anyone have anything similar, camaro etc. that you could like snap a photo of so I know exactly where they are. Its kind of hard to sneek into her car to check it out. Thanks a million!

I suspect that the dash speakers may have been an option with an uplevel factory stereo so the car may or may not have them. Either way, they are likely to be mounted under the dash pad and won't be easy to see or get to. Find a repair manual with illustrations and look it up to see what I mean. A knowledgeable parts guy might be able to tell you or even show you a diagram of the assembly.

If it is like most cars, if it had stereo speakers there would be a 4 by 6 on each corner of the dash. If it had the monoural radio it would have one 4 by 10 in the center of the dash. You will have to take the dashtop off in any case to get to them. I must remind you if the dashtop is in perfect shape BE CAREFUL when you handle it. Doesnt take much to crack these things.
