Will the new Enclave be both FWD and AWD? Either way I am hooked, the Lucerne and Enclave have me thinking Buick, and to pull me away for Pontiac, Chevy and Cadillac takes a hell of a product! Anyone know if they will be sold both FWD and AWD, or just AWD? Thanks, I can't wait till Feb. when I go to the 2007 Chicago Autoshow and see them in the flesh and also I wanna see the new Grand Prix oh yea the DTS-L and Platinum! I went 2 years ago 2005 too see the DTS and Lucerne! (Thats the only reason that I went!)

FWD is standard on the Enclave with optional AWD, just like the Acadia and Outlook. Fall more in love with the coming V8 option (probably) a year after intro in an Enclave CXS and Acadia Denali.

Good question..since the 5.3 OHV is being used in the dubyas, it's a possibility for a FWD application..

It's supposed to be the v8 dubbed "Ultra v8" which is a smaller sized one that will fit into the engine compartment of the Enclave.

I hope they call it the Enclave Ultra and fit it up like the concept. I'd pay for that.

Chevrolet buyers may accept the OHV V8 in its upcoming Lambda, but to compete with other luxury crossovers, the Enclave should probably have the NS.
