This is the Cavalier Z24 wagon that is around town, made by its owner, the parts manager at the local Honda dealership:

Many moons ago, I told daves87rs I'd snap a pic for him. It kind of fell in my lap today.

Did it hurt when it fell in your lap?

Nice ride. I love it when people do mods to a car in such a way that it looks like it came that way from the factory.

Harl: Oh, I'm in the picture thread, way back, and I've posted a (very) few general pics since, but they were always with a borrowed work camera. I recently purchased a Kodak C633, so I'll be putting some pics up once in a while.

loki: not sure if that was still the 2.8, or if it is the 3.1. I wonder if a 3800 S/C would fit? :)

Well, one fits into 4th gen Grand Ams... There's a pic of one somewhere.

that looks to old to be the 3.1L version to me... looks like maybe a '90 cav? could be wrong. i thought the 3.1L were in that refreshed bodystyle after this...

SOme engines can fit so unexpectedly into such cars. I have seen a 2001 Grand Am at Woodward and it had a 350 Chevrolet V8 in it. It confused me because I thought it was a muscle car but it was the Grand Am and it looked heavily riced LOL. These Cavaliers and Sunbirds are very nicely designed. Unfortunately, the Sunbird I was interested in wasn't worth the $200. It would've never past safety tests, sadly.

Nope, it's a 85-87 Cav.

They had the 2.8 in the Z24s until 1990...which got the 3.1s...

My wagon has a 3.1... :)

Oh it burns.... it's a DEEP BURN!!!

I don't get Fly's or Sly's posts. That has to do with taking a Cavalier over an RSX and the Cavalier being more fun... how? Yeeeah, give me an RSX and I'll have fun in the twisties. Give me a Cavalier Z24 wagon and I'll fun beating the crap out of it on some dirtroad. Hmm... decisions, decisions. :P
