anything actually different or just a badging thing?

It has a carbon fiber background and says Z71, versus just the plain black on the other models:

Small difference, but noticeable.

Oooh, Ooooh!

Avalanche?!?

Oh please God, let there be an Avalanche model of this!

There's a Tahoe, Suburban, and Avalanche--all with the same trim. The Z71 package is a $1795 add-on to any LT2 or LT3 level model, 2wd or 4wd.

Here's a lot of other pics, of each of the 3 models:

Yep, it's definately a cool look. Just like with the last gen models, I have a feeling it'll probably be the most popular (or close to) trim too, once production is fully ramped up. Right now it seems that whenever one arrives, it's instantly sold.

It would be nice to be able to order this appearance package on a 2WD version,

instead of only on a 4WD model.

AND...... when will GM get smart and offer a roof rack DELETE option on

regular models instead of taking it off only on the SS model?

Many people don't realize the fuel cost that the drag from that little-used

appendage costs!

  • Z71 badging (”Z71″ on 2WD, “Z71 4×4″ on 4×4)

So... based on Harley's original post, I'm assuming it is available on 2WD models.

Throw in a 3 to 4"" lift and you really have the ultimate beast.

Those Z71s have some interesting touches..haven't seen any yet.

For some reason, when I was out and about Saturday I saw 3 new Suburbans, all dark blue... (I'm assuming they were different and not the same vehicle, as they were in 3 different places around the metro area, unless someone had the same route I did.. or it's one of my enemies and they were shadowing me)
