Oldest person you know of to buy a new car

I hope GMRULES again

About a month ago I was browsing the local Pontiac-Buick lot on a Sunday afternoon and I bump into my cousin's girlfriend's mother and her father who is 93. I had met them before at family events. I knew from talking to him before that he liked cars and that he had leased a 2002 Buick Century and when the lease was up in May he was supposed to give the car back and not get another one. It turns out the old guy couldn't go without wheels so he was back on the lot looking for a deal on an 06 and asked me if I would help him look around at different dealers to find him the color / model he liked. He wanted something different from the Century/ Lacrosse and decided on a G6. Long story short a week later him and I on in the salesmens office and he's pulling out in a new G6. Personally I don't think he should even be on the road but I don't make the rules. Hard to beleive this man was born the year after the titanic sank and his first car was a 1938 Ford coupe. Any other classic stories from sales/dealer people out there?

My neighbour, 85 or 86. Always driven Full-size Chryslers. Got rid of his LHS and he got an 05 300 Limited. They are always black too. I do know of an 82 yr.old woman who bought an 06 Mustang GT. She has always driven the generation of Mustang when it first comes out. She didn't however buy the Mustang II until the King Cobra came out. She had a Torino like the Starsky & Hutch one. She bought the special edition Starsky & Hutch on when it came out and then went to the King Cobra. She is my grandma's friend and has pictures of every car she has owned.

My grandma (dad's mom), who is 90 now, bought her last new car, 98 grand prix GT four door, at 82. After my grandpa died in the early 70s she always bought pontiacs. She had a 71 Lemans, a 74 Grand Prix, an 81 bonneville, an 85 grand am, a 91 grand prix, and then finally the 98 grand prix. My grandpa (mom's dad) bought his last new vehicle, an 05 Trailblazer, at 79.
