Revealed: 2007 Hyundai Tiburon

Posted Image

Our good buddy Dave Thomas over at Kicking Tires alerted us to the appearance of an official photo of the 2007 Tiburon that magically appeared today on Hyundai's media site. The pic appeared stag without any accompanying information, but we already know there will likely be no mechanical changes to the coupe, which means it will again be offered with either the 2.0-liter four-cylinder or 2.7-liter V6. However, Dave informs us that the 2007 Tib will receive a few new features like a standard tire-pressure monitoring system and available stability control.

The Mercury Cougar wasn't the car to derive a design direction from. End of story.

Eh, as I said in the other thread, the current one looks better. That one looks like a Tiburon got surgery to look like its idols, the Celica, Cougar, and MX3.

The front would have looked better without that dumb little tiny slat there for the grill.

The rest of it look ok.

Its a memory expansion slot. Although I'm not quite my microSD card is going to fit in there too nicely.

eh.... the lower grill makes it not look to good...to me. overall a little better than the old one.... now they just need to show some interior and improve the powertrains

Hey, but it will sell, and it looks good, up here in Canada, what competition does the Tibouron have? The Celica is gone, as is the Prelude... you have the Z and the MX-8, but that is a different price range...
