I'm hoping someone on here is into computers and can help. I want to check out GMC and Buick's websites and since they have something being run thru Quicktime, my computer will not show it. All I get is the little Quicktime symbol...the little film real clip with a 'Q' in the center. I'm certain this is a simple adjustment needed to my computer settings, but I have no idea. I checked my internet settings and don't see anything listed for Quicktime, but all but 1 item was checked off under multimedia.

The wierd thing is I have been able to watch other Quicktime movies on this computer. Why does it seem to hang up on the GMC and Buick?

hopefully easy questions...

what browser you use, windows version, see if QT is installed in settings> control panel>modify/uninstall programs... , broadband i hope, any antivirus or firewall programs?

hopefully some of this info will help,

if it not that you should just try to update it / reinstall it by going to quicktime.com....

DO YOU HAVE ITUNES?

my quick time, dvd/cd burner, itunes, all that stuff have been hosed since the last version of itunes, depsite repeated uninstall/reinstall attempts.

lots of folks are having quicktime issues these days. i figure i might as well get a mac. it HAS to work on that.

This subject can be dead now. I fixed it. I just unistalled Quicktime from my computer and now all is well.

BTW: I tried the upgrade first, but it still wouldn't work for these websites.
