It's the last weekend of summer. I'm sort of looking forward to cooler weather...but not too cool.

What are you folks doing?

I get on a plane tonight and fly up to Mom's (that's PDX). Since I will inevitably get in a fight with her (she's a supreme pain), I will take the rental sled up to Vancouver BC for a few days and come back down just in time to catch my flight.

This will be my first flight with the new "bans" in place. Unbelievable...no toothpaste, suntan lotion, deodorant or any of that stuff in the cabin. I wonder what check-in and the security line will be like.

Everybody, have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day and report back.

I'm headed out to the lake for the weekend. It is supposed to be sort of crappy out thhere until sunday at some point and then it will start getting nicer. Monday should be clear skys and 75, but it will be an enjoyable weekend none the less. Some of my friends are coming out on sunday, and we'll see what kinda stupid trouble we can get into.

Have a great weekend everyone!

I am going to try to act surprised when my friends throw me the surprise birthday party they don't think I know about. I'm trying to think of some "reverse" surprise for THEM, but so far, short of just not showing up, (which is not even an option) I haven't come up with anything.

Anyway, will be a great time and I appreciate their hard work!

Sadly, nothing exciting ... and no traveling, thus far, is planned....

Perhaps get the '87 MC LS cleaned up (wash/wax) ... go to a party at my sis and bro-in-law's house Saturday ... otherwise, nothing much ... relax and (hopefully) get some things done....

Working X_x

9am - 2pm @ time and a half. That is the only plus.

Then maybe hanging out with friends and finishing my homework?

Let's see.. Friday (yesterday?) I had to work an 8 hour shift, Saturday (today) I'm going to the Renaissance Festival with the family for the first time, Sunday I've gotta work a 6 hour shift, and Monday I've got no idea...

Sunday we are having a cookout. Other than that nothing exciting which is ok. Maybe go through the '81 clean it, check everything, I think I need to tighten a radiator hose too.
