I've got a DVD R/RW drive on my computer, so here's the question: I downloaded some That 70s Show episodes.. is there any way to put them on a disc to watch them on my DVD player?

Yes, but I'm not sure of the exact method.

I can tell you that DVD-R is the most compatible with DVD players (as opposed to +R or -/+RW).

DVD Shrink is very useful for ripping DVD's onto your hard drive also. :)
