Rt. 110 in Westford, Massachusetts. This is one of the biggest

"cruise nights" in all of New England. Great selection of cars

from the pre-war stuff to rare modern exotics. Once in a blue

moon you even see a $ix digit "trailer queen" driven in or

brass era car or truck.

Here's just a few of the cars there last Thursday. I may post

more later but this is just a sample. Two weeks ago there

was a 1932 Cadillac. I'll post that photo as soon as I dig it up.

This '57 is powered by a 427 and is half daily driver half show car.

It's owned and was built from the ground up TWICE by my friend

Mike's dad... some of you may remember a photo of this car next

to my Mad Max Camaro at the old Tyngsboro house.

Some really nice cars, but nothing like I saw today (I counted 2 Ferrari 360s, a F430, over 5 SRT-10 coupes, same amount of SRT-10 roadsters, over 10 SKYs, quite a few Solstii, and hundreds of old cars OH OH OH, and the Camaro concept 3 times)

Unfortunately, I can only imagine where this thread is going..

This very cool 1962 Cadillac is owned by a good friend of

SpeedingPenguin. It has also been posted on the pages

of C&G before... this past Feb. IIRC.

I got there really early, see all that lawn behind the Super 88? About 90%

of what you see was full of show cars about an hour later. The next photo

was taken about two hours after I arrived when people were already

starting to leave.

If you look closely this is the only photo in question that illustrates

what I'm talking about in that other infamous thread.

Now sharp eyes will notice a late '90s Chevy pickup & a few minivans &

other random "non-show-cars" keep in mind that these are all parked in

designated spots. They belong to someone who carted their stuff right

up to the tent & stage. In other words, the catering staff, band members

(1950s music of course ) and vendors of car parts, car models &

other automotive related products.

This in not the $hit-show that some of you are trying to downplay it to be.

Trust me the fu$*ing Camry had NO PLACE being parked on the lawn.

Yes the 1994 Ford SHO is not that impressive compared to a '38 Plymouth

but it has a legit reason for being there.

This was just before I left right around the time the sun sank below the

tree line. Sofia's bed time was fast approaching.

Wow, an Opel GT....didn't really know that anymore of them were on the road except for my father-in-law's two and a friend of mine in the Air Guard has one. Its good to see the 'mini-vette" running around (God I know my father-in-law, or possibly my wife would kill me at that comment).

Who said anything about my experience being ruined...?

I simply put a lazy jerk in their place. Almost everything

else had a rightful place there. The Sky, a few Porsches,

an old school Celica Supra and a few '80s pickups all

custmized to at least some degree: some lifted some

riding as low as my Super 88.

SOme more stuff coming soon.... I have about 2000 photos from

just this summer's car shows thus far. That 1958 Imperial is still

one of my favorite cars ever. Gorgeous.

Yes & suicide doors need to come back on cars too... we

already have them on trucks so why ont on a car like the

next Continental if Ford ever gets off their a$$es &

makes the production version of the last concept.

Two cars I did not grab pictures of becuase my battery

died was a '63 Split Window with a GMC blower sticking

out of the hood and a '66 Porsche 911 with SBC power.

You look in the engine bay of a nice clean Porsche and

there's a 350 Chevy sittign there mounmted backwards.
