Alright I was doing an oil change in my G6 yesterday and I got sidetracked and then i brought the car down and used my remote and started the car from inside my house i came outside to a whole bunch of pings and dings and realizeing what I did shut off the engine. I added oil and am waiting to start it but what would be the best thing to do now start it or would it hurt it. I'm on a lease so I'm kinda not knowing what to do help me...

Holy $h!, dude. Pings and dings? That could be your cylinder walls being eaten away. Yikes.

I'd add the oil back in and, since it's on a lease, go back to the dealer (if possible) and say, "Hey man, WTF did you sell me?!" But that's just me.

Well, how'd it go? I hope everything was alright!

Well it runs it seems like it might have some more noise coming from the engine then previously but it runs so I guess I will forget all about what happened and continue on just glad I didn't really kill my engine I guess I got lucky.

1. how long did it run for?

2. Marvel's Mystery Oil or Lucas might help, anyone else got insight on that?

I wouldn't be shocked if he marred his piston rings and/or cylinder walls. I don't think any fluid will help that.
