I don't want Mitsu to go under...so I hope this is a good product. So far, it has good styling, and as said before, it should be good to go if it is a competitive package.

It looks good, and although I'm not a Mitsu fan, I still have to say that as long as the pricing and interior comes together nicely, they may have a winner on their hands considering how popular the Caliber is doing around here (seeing lots and lots of them running around).

The current Lancer is a pretty woeful car, at least where styling is concerned. Only the current model yeard looks presentable - 5 years and countless makeovers to get it right.

And, if Chrysler doesn't get around to producing a 3-Door or sedan of the Cailber, I guess I might as well go for its technical platform-mate- the new Mitsubishi Lancer.

The new Lancer looks to have a smoother design that I prefer, and if I'm right, since both companies spent money to produce this architecture, why not get it?

Sure, the profits go to Japan, but love does not make me blind.

For instance, if Kia built a hot little coupe with a decent interior, I would take that any day over a Caliber.

Can't be an Evo..if so why did they lose the wide fender flares of the concept? I'd say this is a tamed down model. Also note the high "pad" looking thing in the hood. I would bet this is a tunnel of sorts to let the hood vents breath. However I also see the same "pad" like item on the front fenders...More vents possibly or just weird camo?

That's pretty hot for a tarted-up sedan. The EVO is the only reason I have to root for Mitsubishi, so hopefully the EVO X will be a home run.
