What should I consider..

'94-'96 Buick Roadsmasher or Cadillac Fleetwood. I'd only go for a Caprice if it were a real 9C1, but that's just me; any B-body would make a fine replacement for your old car.

How about an Olds Custom Cruiser with a Vista Roof Panel, huh?

Then when you have maybe a little more cash, do something like this to un-grandma-fy it.

Hotter than a Magnum if I do say so myself. :D

get a old pick up there cheap and all of the big three makes decent trucks.

but old Caprices, and Crown Vics, and Marquis are found every where cheap!

Easy, a Chevy Caprice/Impala SS!

Or.....Buick Roadmaster...or....Cadillac Fleetwood! :)

Yes indeed... B-body is where it's at! Although a Panther would be a

great choice too. These days a 96ish Town Car is looking like a

very sensible value.

If you can deal with a 2 door unibody car check out the

Lincoln Mark VIII from the mid to late 90s. (1993-1999)

That does sound quite nice, arent they the first car w/ aerodynamic headlight and HID?

Well... aerodynamic is relative but I believe they had the first HIDs

& were the first to use NEON lighting technology, also one of the

first to use active suspension & the car automatically lowered itself

at highway speeds by a couple inches using it's 4 wheel air ride.

Those of you that remember Lord Stafford when he used to post

quite frequently... I've exchanged a few emails with him in the

past year and I guess he bought himself a Mk III for a good

price and the car has been great for him as of the last time we

exchanged emails.
