Well, I just got back from seeing Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Its a 2h-45m long movie although it doesn't feel like it in the least. I loved the movie, it was a whole lot darker than the first, which I liked and it was far funnier. The biggest thign that I saw was that the Transformer's movie was one of the previews that strung along. I got a kick out of seeing it and whispered to my wife "we'll be seeing that". So has anyone else seen the movie?

Yep, I went and saw it this afternoon. I liked it better than Superman and I enjoyed it, but I didn't love it. I don't think the story had enough to it to carry the movie for two and a half hours. The special effects were really excellent.

My sisters and I thought it was a good movie, but pointless. So... we were all dissapointed in it, and felt all 2 hours and 45 minutes could be summed up in the first 10 minutes of part 3.

A very good friend of mine is in that, he plays a background pirate. He actually had a speaking scene or 2, including a line with Johnny Depp, but it was cut out of the final edit. You can still see him in a couple scenes in a bar or some-such. Can't wait to see it!

I saw it last night. It was alright. It felt like another Bruckheimer film with lots of action and little plot.. just like he likes it.

The jokes were kind of funny but at times, I was forcing myself to laugh.

I don't know if it was because I was tired from working all day I was dissapointed with it.

I give it 3/5 stars.
