June 2006 Sales: Subaru of America

CHERRY HILL, N.J., July 3, 2006 -- Subaru of America, Inc. today reported its best June sales in company history, with sales totaling 18,476 units, up 3 percent for the month compared with the same period last year.  Both the Subaru B9 Tribeca and Subaru Impreza posted double-digit gains, while total Subaru sales are up 3 percent year-to-date.

The Subaru Legacy sales were up with 8,882 units in June, with Subaru Outback posting 5,956 units for the month.  Subaru Forester recorded 3,967 units, while Baja posted 417 units in June.  Subaru Impreza jumped 12 percent over the previous June, totaling 3,335 units, while Subaru B9 Tribeca also posted a 22 percent gain with 1,875 units for the month.
