Hey, PB:

How's your new job looking thus far? God, that first day or two until you get the lay of the land is so weird.

We've gone through bizarre changes at work in the last 2 months...probably more complex than what needs to be put on the site. However, it has all meant MORE work for me (bleh), so now I am constantly behind and playing catch up. There just aren't enough people around with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience to manage projects in the area. I miss a 40 hour work week.

So, report back, bud.

So far, it has worked out well, this being my second day there. The atmosphere is totally different, much less frenetic. I went from a minimum 45 hour week (usually it was 48-52) to a 40 hour week. Plus, no rotating Saturdays. And they matched my salary. I feel like skipping across the parking lot at 5 o'clock to hop in the truck... so far. Thanks fer askin'.

There's only one in town, the new one, that I know of. I'll prolly just pack my lunch like every other day, sit in the park and eat it, then take a couple of laps walking around the lake.

Now that sounds like a lunch!

I hate being stuck inside for lunch....

I need light! :)

Good to hear your job is doing well....

Ahhh...now that sounds like a fun and relaxing lunch :).

Congrats on the new job ... glad to know it is going well for you, ocnblu!

I'm still lookin' ... and my doctors confirmed that if I don't find one soon ... I could be in for more health issues :(. Ah, well ... sooner or later ;).

'not gonna touch that one'

correct, I am not a pill and i have a completely warped sense of humor. It helps me appreciate everyone else's warped sense of humor while others are worried greatly about whether their turtle neck snagged in the wash or their tiny glasses got dented up.

what is incorrigible? i'm not sure if that's a complement or a swipe!

That's a classic...and so true. Just think, I got hit with waves of those types at the convention....and I was trying to convince you to go!!!

Sorry bud, but the joke was begging to come out. :AH-HA_wink:

Why is it that ANY thread having ANYTHING to do with ocnblu within a matter of 15 posts gets dragged into the mud? :duh:

Some things are so predictable.

Hey, you know what... it was YOU GUYS who set 'em up, I just knocked 'em down. I answered your questions pretty demurely at first. The little thing with B&BL could have been a blip on the radar... but no, you all had to go all North Korea on me, settin' off your missiles. It was my duty to shoot 'em outta the sky.

This conversation went downhill way to fast. I does remind me of many of the conversations here at work though. Ahh, the military.
