Shanghai Maple, a subsidiary of Geely introduced its new 305-series in China.

There are two versions of the new 305-series: the Marindo, which is already on sale and the Hysoul which will be marketed soon. Both are developments of the 303-series.

Marindo which retails for RMB 76,888 and aimed at "trendy city ladies" is powered by a self-developed 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine, but otherwise identical to the existing 1.5-liter 303 sedan. It comes equipped with electric windows, airbags, MP3 player. The car will be shown at the Frankfurt Show under the Geely brand.

The Hysoul features individual styling, with its front nose. It will go on sale before the end of this year.

"Trendy City Ladies"  These are so sad they're funny. Its like all the loser who kitted up cheap cars to look like real cars formed a company. And am I the only one to think the Amanti wouldn't look out of place in a knockoff lineup?
