When I was between 15 and 23 years of age, I really, really wanted to own a new full-size SUV - especially the GMC Suburban - of course these were all way out of my affordable price range at that time. If I had the cash available now, that two-tone blue Suburban above would be gracing my driveway

Back in 2005, and even now, this is the truck I would have killed for (especially since the sportside bed option was discontinued in 2004): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GMC-SLE-low-miled-short-box-5-3-V8-locking-differential-and-4-wheel-drive-/290612783347?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item43a9df28f3 I would have choosen either the dark blue metallic, stealth gray, or dark steel metallic exterior colors instead of black. Too bad this particular one wasn't closer to my home though...

How do you make so little horsepower with so many cubic inches? I'm sure the there are breathing issues with the flathead arrangement and metallurgy issues with iron that old, but that can't account for all of it.

Giant plastic pennies. Measure about 5" in diameter, they're hollow, but not cheesily-thin. Excellent replicas of 1909 wheat-leaf pennies. Who/ when/ why they were made, I don't know. No 'non-penny' markings whatsoever. I have 5 of them, asking $2.50 each plus shipping.

I might even be able to pay cash for this and then try to lease an econo car for work But... buyer beware... - could this be too good to be true???

Only 123K... only $2495! Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1989-CADILLAC-DeVILLE-RAT-ROD-THE-RATILLAC-HOT-ROD-/320697656012?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4aab11e2cc#v4-34 I am so embarrassed as this is within a few miles of me. Thankfully, I have not seen it in person. I'd have to punch them. Forgot to add... check out the sweet fender skirts.

Have 2 sets: -- -- -- -- -- Set 1 : 18"x36" heavy duty/commercial grade. Long edges are reinforced- they measure 5/16" thick. I stood in the center of one (I'm about 200 lbs) & they barely deflect. Load 'em up with cylinder heads! (9) shelves, (12) 6' uprights, slide-in hanger brackets (+ extras), diagonal crossbrace pieces, nuts & bolts. Minor surface rust on some pieces, but functionally 100%. $50 -- -- -- -- -- Set 2 : 24"x36", also HD (but without reinforced edges), (13) shelves, (16) 5' uprights (2-3 have rusted ends- you could always shorten them), extra hanger brackets, lots of diagonal crossbrace lengths. Minor surface rust on some pieces, but overal…

Got a real decent pair of '67 Firebird doors (these interchange straight up with Camaro) Very small, contained rot hole in the bottom jamb- can weld it up if you want/can't. Vent windows are there, too, good spare cores to stash in the rafters. Asking $250/pair (will separate). No shipping- limited local delivery possible.

You Just Don't Find Them Like This Anymore If a '55 Chevy is your project of choice, this is the best one to start with that I have ever seen. You would have been hard-pressed to find one this unmolested and original in the mid-seventies, let alone today. It's worth every penny of the asking price. http://southjersey.craigslist.org/ctd/2260421276.html One of my top favorite Trans Ams. I was 15 years old when Pontiac introduced the MCE-for-'91 Firebird line in spring of '90. I would ride my bike to Cathcart Pontiac (about a 4-5 mile ride from my house) in Trenton (Ewing) often to see the latest Pontiacs, and wait for one of these new T/A GTAs to show up. I got lucky one day when a transporter full of new Firebirds and Camaros was in the lot and I got to watch a green and tan T/A GTA just like the one above get off-loaded. The salesman standing next to me went in to his desk and came out with a '91 Firebird brochure with a like-GTA on the inside spread (I still…

Saw this advertised in the local Auto Shopper magazine; went to the Red Cross Motor Pool just to check it out: 1985 Cadillac Eldorado Roadster, 98k, $1,950: Outdoors kept car, filler panels in rear cracked/need replacing, some bubbling (rust) on the doors and otehr areas, interior seat repairs needed, but overall a nice car to restore if into these. I hate the fabric roadster roof though.

Found on Ebay: 1973 Chevrolet Caprice 4-door Hardtop We find a 1973 Chevrolet Caprice 4-door hard top on e-bay with the starting bid of $5,500. This black bomber is in immaculate condition with just 31,000 miles on the 400 cubic inch V8. It's been repainted in it's original color and the A/C still works.

http://www.autoshopper.com/used-trucks/1991_GMC_Jimmy_Sle_4x4_Hudson_FL-4338550.htm I've always been a fan of the entire GMC Jimmy (full-size) models, and would LOVE to have this last year model. Too bad it's almost $5k and 900+ miles away from me in Florida. But it sure is clean looking for a 20 year old SUV

http://www.autoshopper.com/used-cars/1995_Oldsmobile_Cutlass_Supreme_Philadelphia_PA-3371380.htm V6, auto w/OD, 78,000 miles, p-seat, p-lcks, p-win, cruise, tilt, leather int., p-top, 2 dr, convt, $2,995. I've always wanted a '90s C/S Convertible, and the Holy Grail would be the '95 like this (and I even dig the red). Too bad I'm still under-employed and without a dime in the bank to spend on a "toy" car.

http://www.autoshopper.com/used-cars/1988_Oldsmobile_Cutlass_Supreme_Kenvil_NJ-3627645.htm (eight more pictures at the link above) 45k original miles, rear bucket seats, digital dash, all for $3,450. A teacher of mine in high school had one of these C/S Internationals, except her's had the red & gray exterior with the red velour interior. I've always liked these versions of the C/S, and it would be a cool car to own for future cruise nights.
